I have been researching my family tree for several years now.It all 
started when the house my mother was born in came up for sale.Browsing 
the internet for details of the house we came upon census information for the 
family living there at the time.....as the saying goes one thing led to 
another!

I have been lucky in that I still live within a few miles, of both my 
husband's 
and my ancestors,so am able to visit local churches,museums etc in search of 
further information.

I am hoping through this site I can share not just the details of my family 
but the many old family photos I am fortunate enough to have and in time local 
photographs ,churches ,villages etc.

In the photo section I have included an album labelled 'UNKNOWN '.Please if 
you can indentify anyone in any of the photos I would love to know who they 
are.Most of the 
photos in this album I believe are connected to the ABBOTT FAMILY

As this site is still very much under construction please visit again ,as more 
names will be added daily.

I have started the tree with my Grandfather on my Mother's side,so as to avoid 
including living relatives that may not be so keen to have their details 
online.

Finally but most important of all I must thank everyone who has helped me in 
my research.Those who have given information from parish records,I appreciate 
how difficult some of the fiches are to read!!those who have shared their own 
family research details and those who have spent time discussing probabilities!
